Synerus Caffer | Cape Buffalo
Using acrylic on linen panel, Zoe has creted a portrait of the grumpy, and highly dangerous Cape Buffalo. The Cape buffalo, also known as the African buffalo, is a robust and powerful bovine species found across sub-Saharan Africa. With its massive build and distinctive horns, it is considered one of the most dangerous and aggressive animals on the continent. Their reputation for causing damage has given them the nickname 'black death'.
They are known for their strong herding instincts and can form massive groups consisting of hundreds or even thousands of individuals. Despite their intimidating nature, cape buffaloes are herbivores, feeding on grasses and other vegetation. They are highly adaptable, able to thrive in various habitats such as savannas, open woodlands, and grasslands.
Cape buffaloes are a symbol of strength and resilience in the African wilderness.
